Norcross evened its fastpitch softball season record at 2-2 with a 6-1 win at South Forsyth on Monday.
Freshman Alayah Steele starred in the victory with a seven-inning complete game, four-hitter. She struck out eight and walked two, in addition to going 2-for-3 at the plate with an RBI, a walk and a run.
Ansley Epperson led the Norcross offense with a 3-for-3 night, including three runs.
