NORCROSS — Familiar opponents squared off Wednesday night for the Region 7-AAAAAA Volleyball Tournament title.

Norcross and North Gwinnett met in the region tourney finals for the fourth straight season, and the host Blue Devils won their third straight championship — all over North — 25-15, 25-23, 25-20.

It is the fourth region title in a five-year span for Norcross, whose only loss in that stretch came in the 2022 region finals against North.

Norcross (29-13), which will be the region’s No. 1 seed for state, was led offensively by Sofia Guerrero-Wilson (20 kills), Zoe Felder (seven kills, six blocks), Jada Mickens (five kills) and Zoe O’Leary (five kills).

Ellie Ruth Blue ran the offense with 39 assists and added five digs, while the Blue Devils’ defense was paced by Grayson Taylor’s 15 digs and Dakota Washington’s 10 digs.
