Norcross wins Pool B
HOSCHTON — Norcross defeated host Mill Creek 25-12, 25-17 and beat Collins Hill 25-22, 25-22 to win Pool B of the Gwinnett County tournament on Thursday.
The Blue Devils (19-11) will open Gold Bracket play Saturday at Seckinger against the Grayson-North Gwinnett winner.
Sofia Guerrero-Wilson had 19 kills and Zoe Felser had 10 kills to lead Norcross in pool play. Valentina Casagrande (23 digs) and Grayson Taylor (18 digs) paced the Blue Devils’ defense, while Ellie Ruth Blue (44 assists) and Jada Mickens (eight kills, six blocks) also played well.
