Coach’s take: “Right now our ball control and our defense and our serve and receive is ahead. That being said, I think because we’re going to be ahead there, it’s going to benefit us later on because our ball control is going to be good and our offense is already getting better just in the last week from team camp to the first two days of practice. Our new setters are showing some confidence, and we have a returning senior setter that played behind an all-state setter last year, and our other setter is a freshman. We have two setters ready to get after it and improving every day.”
