Former Norcross standout Jerry Deng committed this week to the University of Memphis men’s basketball program.

The 6-foot-9 forward spent 2025-26 at North Carolina State, but he played in only eight games early in the season and took a redshirt. As a sophomore, he averaged 7 points in 15.4 minutes per game at Florida State. He started his college career at Hampton, where he averaged 10.1 points and 4.2 rebounds as a freshman.
