MARIETTA — Norcross’ baseball team posted a 7-5 victory at Walton on Tuesday.
Wes Thiry celebrated his birthday with a win on the mound, pitching 4 1/3 innings and giving up one earned run on three hits. He struck out seven and added a double at the plate.
Ryan Lee earned the save for the unbeaten Blue Devils, now 4-0 on the season.
Norcross was powered offensively by Will Thiry, who was 3-for-3 with a home run, and Austin Walsh blasted a grand slam.
The Blue Devils also got hits from Tristan Alvarez, Barrett Olejnik and Lee.
